Brentwood Private Residence

The new owners of this 1950’s ranch-style estate tasked Segal Shuart with updating the entire property in a more contemporary style while harmonizing with the site and its architecture. We introduced a series of unique spaces throughout the 1-acre property that provide for peace and solitude as well as family gatherings and parties. An enlarged stone entry court provides a beautiful and functional approach to the house, and bluestone pathways lead from one outdoor room to the other. The entire site was transformed to include a casual fire pit lounge, a covered outdoor kitchen with bar, dining and lounge, a true outdoor living room with fireplace, an expansive play area equipped with a Cedarworks playset, a pool with integrated rock waterslide, and a multi-purpose sports court. New trees throughout the property offer beautiful seasonal interest and all lighting is controlled using the latest RGBW LED Luxor ZD technology.
